Welcome to The 50 Lessons for Lawyers Living Room

We're a community of kind, cool, courageous lawyers, law students, & thought leaders. Join us!

Start creating the law practice and life that you dreamed about in law school.

The 50 Lessons for Lawyers Living Room is your space to find the tools and support you need to design your life, build your law practice, and define success on your own terms.

Being a lawyer can be a lonely place. You're expected to be everything to everyone all the time. It can feel like there are never enough hours in the day. And that no matter how hard you work, there is always a never ending list of "to do's" and deadlines and demands. That's why we created the 50 Lessons for Lawyers Living Room.

Hey there!

I'm Nora Bergman. I'm a lawyer, a law firm coach, and the author of the 50 Lessons for Lawyers book series. I am passionate about helping lawyers live the lives they dreamed about in law school.

You can learn more about me and my work as an
Atticus Practice Advisor here.

We designed this community to bring together lawyers, law students and thought leaders to navigate the rapidly changing legal profession, define new rules for the practice and business of law, and develop habits that make us better people and better lawyers, so that we can effectively manage our time, successfully develop and grow our teams, take care of ourselves, and create law firms that will thrive in the future.
And we'll do all of this while having fun in the process!

While our community takes its name from the 50 Lessons for Lawyers book series, and while I'll be sharing the Lessons here as a starting point for discussions, this community is about so much more than just the 50 Lessons. Its about all of us and what we can accomplish together that we just can't accomplish alone.

The Power of Community
Comes From Contribution

If we create networks with the sole intention of getting something, we won’t succeed. We can’t pursue the benefits of networks; the benefits ensue from investments in meaningful activities and relationships.
